Course Description

Interior design is more than simply arranging furniture within a space. It is the art and science of designing interior environments that are functional, safe, comfortable, and visually appealing. This course introduces students to the essential principles of interior design while encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and spatial thinking. Students will learn how to read and create design drawings, understand space planning, explore materials and finishes, and develop practical design solutions for real-life residential spaces. Through hands-on exercises and design projects, students will gain the confidence to transform ideas into well-planned interior environments.
