Course Description:

This fun and interactive course introduces students to the exciting world of architecture by combining creative design with hands-on model making. Students will explore how buildings are imagined, planned, and brought to life starting from simple sketches and ending with their own 3D architectural models.

Throughout the course, they will learn the basics of shapes, space, scale, and structure, while developing their ability to translate 2D drawings into physical forms. Using a variety of materials they will experiment, build, and refine their ideas in a playful and supportive environment.

Designed to encourage creativity, problem-solving, and spatial thinking, this course allows young learners to express their imagination while understanding real architectural concepts.

Module 2: From Idea to Design

• Part 5: Sketching basics + simple building sketch

• Part 7: Elevation & facade drawing
• Part 8: Final design (plan + elevation)

Module 3: Model Making Basics

• Part 9: Tools, materials & safety + practice
• Part 10: Build simple forms (walls, roofs)
• Part 11: Add windows, doors & details
• Part 12: Structure & stability

 Module 4: Translating Design into 3D Model
