This course is your comprehensive guide to design and illustration styles that will prepare you to become a creative fashion designer. Structured to challenge and inspire students, lessons combine both theoretical and practical approaches to fashion design. You will get to keep your own “design journal” to compile your original sketches and illustrations as you progress through the lessons. You will learn from Rita Nicolas, an instructor who describes herself as a happy, young, and full-of-life designer and architect. She is a Lebanese national with 27 years of extensive expertise in teaching students fashion design, interior design, architecture, creative drawing, and painting in Dubai. Students will leave the class with a jumpstart on their portfolio and deep knowledge of both traditional sketching and up-to-date design concepts. Classes can be taught either in Arabic, English, or a combination of both.
