About the Founder

Rita Nicolas is the visionary founder of Designers Collective Institute, Club DC, and Designers in Business,  renowned for their dedication to fostering creativity and innovation in design. With over two decades of experience as an architect and designer, Rita has cultivated a thriving community of professionals and enthusiasts passionate about pushing the boundaries of their crafts. Her extensive expertise in Architecture, Interior Design, Fashion Design, and Sustainable Arts has earned her a distinguished reputation in the industry. Rita has led numerous workshops of Interior Design for the Ministry of Education. She has also worked with the governments of Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah to deliver various workshops for Interior Design.

At Designers Collective Institute, Rita has created an educational environment that nurtures talent and encourages artistic expression. The institute offers a diverse range of courses, from architecture and interior design to fashion design, and more all tailored to equip students with the skills needed to excel in their fields. Under Rita’s leadership, the institute emphasizes hands-on learning and real-world application, ensuring that graduates are well-prepared to make significant contributions to the design world. Designers Collective Institute is also in collaboration with the prestigious Rome University of Architecture d’Intérieure and Fine Arts (RUFA) in Italy. RUFA University, as well as Ferrari Fashion University.

Club DC, founded by Rita, serves as a vibrant platform for women empowerment and professional development. The club offers intellectual courses, workshops, and networking opportunities, specifically designed to support and inspire women in the design industry. Through Club DC, Rita continues to mentor and uplift aspiring female designers, sharing her knowledge and experience to help them achieve their goals.
