Interior design is more than just knowing where to place the right furniture at home. It is a professional way of designing interior spaces to make them functional, safe, and beautiful. This course will provide you with both the needed knowledge and the creative ideas you need to succeed in interior design. Even without rigorous university studies, this course will inspire you to draw and apply innovative concepts like appropriate color schemes, choosing the right furniture, deciding on wall and floor coverings, as well as window treatments.

Course Description:
Whether you’re starting from scratch or making the best of what you have, this course will provide
you all the ideas and information needed to succeed in Interior design. This course is offered by
an interior designer. Without rigorous universities studies, this course will inspire you with new
ideas. It will teach you how to pick colour scheme with confidence, how to choose furniture with
a future, decide on wall and floor coverings and window treatments… The course will give you
the knowledge and confidence to decorate your own place. By the end of the course you will gain

Course Outline:
* The heart of Interior design.
Without much ado, diving straight into the essence of Interior Design. We’ll touch the many
technical facets of Interior Design. What is a plan, how to read it. What is a façade and how to
interpret it. What is elevation and perspective.
* Hands On
Learning how to use a scale ruler and how to take measurement in reality. Practicing the
architecture rules. How to organize and bend spaces to your needs. Applying acquired knowledge
to a toilet and kitchen plans in a real life scenario simulation. By trial and error process, you’ll
design and we’ll correct until the best design is reached.
* Creativity. The soul of Interior Design.
In this session we’ll focus on the creativity thinking that is the soul of Interior design. You’ll create
a design for a studio room. We’ll also handle the perspective approach.
* Technically deep.
Assessing the materials. Learning the axonometric. Evaluating your creative approach of the studio
based on the newly acquired knowledge.
* Technicals forward / Your homes
Going forward to learn all the architecture tools. T_ruler, scale ruler and architect ruler. We’ll use
all of them to measure our designs. We’ll employ strict measurement to develop a bedroom design.
Starting this lesson you will be able to review your own homes.
* Design real life plans
Designing a reception room from A to Y. Utilizing the measurements and drawing its plans,
elevations and perspective. This is a real life example that will help you designing your own homes.
* Colors, fabrics and furniture.
Selecting colors for your interiors. Matching the fabrics with the furniture. Using those to design
all the rooms of a house. We’ll experiment with some samples, before and after. We’ll devise and
design dining room, and kitchen.
* Joining the parts, technical knowledge and creativity part.
We’ll work with the colors on different house entities. We’ll achieve a Kitchen, and master
bedroom. Both will have direct impact on your real life home designs.
* Styles of the past and the future
Discussing the different interior styles from the classic to the contemporary to the ultra-modern.
We’ll mix them into your own home design and we’ll witness their effect on your home plans
based on your taste. It benefits you without having to study 5 years the history of art.
* Material selection to your needs.
Effect of the different materials on your home design and style. A house for kids has a definite
distinct design than one for teens or olds. We’ll apply height levels for different styles of living.
* Lightings and space planning.
Space intelligence and how to best to squeeze an elephant into a Volkswagen car. Converse about
the lighting function. Reflection on their effects to your home plans.
* Your homes / End of the tunnel
We’ll conclude your particular home plans and you’ll receive your course certificate.
